Simply enter the time and date of
the News Event, and turn on the “Trade
The News” function
inside the program.
When the selected time/date News
Event occurs… Simple Simon © will activate and wait for a BUY or SELL
signal.
If no signal is received, no trades
will take place and will
therefore shut down and close for the day automatically.
If a trade is placed and in
running, Simple Simon © will monitor and close the position
automatically. No more
positions will be opened, and
will again shut down and close for the day automatically.
It is important to note that no more trades will take place until you have
entered another time/date News Event, or “Trade
The News” function has
been disabled.
TRADE THE NEWS (Automated Version) can to trade up to 10 news
events per day AUTOMATICALLY - Simple Simon © will lay dormant until each event takes
place.
Containing all of the functions
as in the manual version above, this would be by far your best option if
trading the news were your favourite trading plan. Another benefit to this option... is that it guards against OVER-TRADING.

AUTO SHUTDOWN will close any open positions on detection of Weekends and Public Holidays, and has saved many a fortune due to "WEEKEND PRICE-GAPS" or unstable "RANGING" periods.
You see, one of the main problems with leaving a position open over the weekend, is that you have no control over it if the market turns against you. And as the brokers are generally closed for the duration, you are left powerless to exit the position, and may therefore incur considerable loss.
As for Public or Bank Holidays... The banks are closed! - Therefore trading activity is low. (Best to stay out of the market and enjoy your time-off!)
WEEKEND PRICE-GAP DETECTION is deployed automatically on every new week start-up, and will keep you out of the market until it has settled and returned to normal. (You must never assume that the price-gap will close and attempt to trade it, because it doesn't always please. Therefore, we do not trade PRICE-GAPS!)
BROKER MANIPULATION can happen at any time of the day, and there are hot-times when this occurs.
Simple Simon © contains a TrojanSpy © that will detect any type of broker manipulation including ENTRY, EXIT, SLIPPAGE and SPREAD. (ON-SCREEN VISUAL DISPLAYS and ALERTS will notify you of such an event)
If SPREAD manipulation is detected... the opening of a new position
will be delayed until the manipulation is over, ensuring
maximum profits. (Manipulation
periods could be 5 seconds to 1 hour.)
AUTO-OPTIMISATION via an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is run
automatically at the end of each day.

The trading newbie… is excited about making lots of EASY money, and cannot understand why some people need a fancy computer program to help them...

market goes up you BUY… when the market goes down you SELL… Piece of

As he watches the chart it begins to move UPWARDS… and

So, what exactly is a “Ranging” market?
A ranging market means that the price is moving back and
forth between higher and lower price levels.
The higher price would be acting as a resistance
because it prevents the price from moving above it, and a the lower price would
be acting as a support because it prevents the price from moving
below it.
When this happens the market
would be considered to be moving sideways, with very little upward or
downward movement. Other terms used
are choppy or whipsaw.
Attempts to trade in these conditions are very difficult,
and much to your brokers delight, you will lose 99% of your trades - as demonstrated by the trading newbie above.

One of the main reasons that traders FAIL is that
they use too much money when selecting LOT SIZES.

on your equity, NOT your greed.

Your
requirements & what you’ll have to do…
If you are to take your trading seriously, you MUST
have a dedicated computer connected to a reliable Broadband
Service.
A wide-screen Laptop is considered best
for viewing, and also contains its own power source in case of power failure. (Optional)
You must then set the computer time zone to GMT London. You can do this quite easily by double
clicking the clock at the bottom right of your screen and select “Time
Zone” - “GMT London” - “Apply”
- “OK”
If your computer contains any kind of “AUTOMATED UPDATES” Turn
them OFF! Because if left on,
they will take over your computer, needing to RE-START it after an
update. If this happens it will turn
off MetaTrader 4 and ultimately Simple Simon ©. (Although safety
parameters are installed within the program, a small loss may occur if
MetaTrader 4 is not turned on again in time – No more trades will take place
until MetaTrader 4 is turned on again)
It goes without saying that in order to trade at all... You must open a (LIVE or DEMO) account with a broker and download MetaTrader 4. If you don't already have a live account, you should start with a demo account first, as this will enable you to test Simple Simon © and trade without risking any real money.
